Yamaha have entered the large capacity police motorcycle field with this sports tourer, the FJR1300P. With it’s full fairing, ABS brakes, electrically adjustable screen, single seat, radio hump and panniers as standard and with a top speed around 145mph, this model now comes into direct competition with BMW and Honda. Although still relatively new to the UK, the police model has found favour for many years with other forces in Europe.
