BMW production of this model started in 1976 and ended in 1979. The pictures show a BMW R75/7 registered in December 1976 to the Metropolitan Police, London.
The machine pictured has done over 250,000 miles on the original engine and gearbox with only some cosmetic touch up by its current owner.

The fairing is by Avon, the blue lights are by Notek, the radio is a Pye Westminster and panniers are by Craven.
