Swallow Gadabout scooter

These little Villiers powered scooters were used by some police forces and some even had a sidecar, all designed and made by the Swallow Coach building company.

We were told about these while on the stand at Stafford and by next year a fully restored example should be on display.

You can see more pictures and information in our ‘Machine Profiles’ section.

 Uttoxeter Show is GO

Following a very favourable response from group members at the Stafford Show, it has been decided that we enter the 4th Uttoxeter Classic Motorcycle Show  & autojumble on 3rd & 4th July. This is a clash of dates but should not affect the machines at either show. Only about 12 miles from Stafford. Contact Gerry.

Web Site Update - May 2010

If you have visited the site before, then you will see that the page headers have been cleaned up and re-coloured. Also, the pages are presented in a wider format to fit your screen better as everyone now seems to have better monitors but we’ve left a little margin at the sides for now.

This site has now  produced using Serif WebPlus X4, the latest version. This has been used to revise the drop-down menu bars, and the search box is now on every page, as it the revision date. Photo Gallery pages are much improved, with more content and pictures of machines. And you can now search from every page.

This may have created some new problems, so if you do find some, please contact the webmaster.
